Hi, I haven't played this game for a week and when I turned on Origin, I noticed there was an update on the BFV game.
However, after the update, the game went back to desktop without any error messages.
I am on Windows 10 on an AMD Ryzen 9 5900x with RTX 3080 and all the latest drivers.
I suspect the update botched the game.
Heya, just want to cross refrences something a player mentioned:
What is your ram frequency/speed?
Try this:
Make sure Origin is closed.
Navigate here: C:\ProgramData
Delete the Origin folder.
Now run the game.

I using 16 GB RAM of 2933 MHZ Frequency. Previously I don't have any issues running this game, I don't think it has hardware issues, but I might be wrong as well. Here I attached my dxdiag files just in case need some details.
Thanks for the reply btw. I will try your suggestionBasically I using :

Hmm okay,
Navigate here and delete the igo64.dll file
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin
If you are launching BF through steam, clear the download cache.
- 4 years ago@The_Tibber thanks bro after my update for WIN 11 i cant play BFV , my game close always for no reason and no error code, and i delete this file and now works fine
- Liz4rD774 years agoSeasoned Traveler@The_Tibber This solved my problem but made Origin to put all my games in the origin library enter in 'check and repair mode'. All my games were put in a queue to be repaired.
So I cancelled and went back to the previous state.
I want my BFV fixed but in no way I want any problem with any of the other games in my library.
Then I tried deleting igo64.dll file as you suggested and it had no effect, the problem still persisiting.
Maybe if I again try this first solution, Origin will check the files and nothing will happen, but I dont know if I cant take the risk. I dont have much time to spend trying this workarounds in the game (my job consumes much of my time), moreover when MY GAME WAS WORKING FINE.
Its a shame that I paid for a product, that finally after some problems at the beggining (when I purchased it) I made it work, and then SOME STUPID UPDATE FROM EA BROKE IT.
We the users DONT NEED TO WASTE OUR TIME fixing problems that are totally out of our responsibility.
I pay for a game, and I want it to run fine and smooth in a perfectly fine, healthy and new hardware as the one that I have (all my other games run fine, my pc is a high end one, drivers and windows up to date, damnit why EA have to put US in this situation).- peuteuy284 years agoSeasoned Novice
@Liz4rD77 damn, I just want to tell. I agree with u. So much taking times and eventually I played another games for my free time 🤣🤣🤣
