Gsync not working after update

Well after update there was micro lags, updated graphics drives by nvidia just launched and now Gsync is not working properly only in BFV where as BF1 is working smoothly. can any 1 from community confirm this issue for me

    1. Open Nvidia Control Panel. You can do that by right-clicking the Nvidia icon in the bottom right corner and choosing Nvidia Control Panel from the menu.
    2. When Nvidia Control Panel opens, go to Manage 3D settings in the left pane.
    3. Now you need to go to Global Settings tab and locate Vertical sync option in the menu. Set Vertical sync to On. Click Apply to save changes. If you want, you can turn on Vertical sync just for applications that are experiencing screen tearing from the Program Settings tab.
    4. After making these changes, restart your PC.

As you said, BF1 works OK but the above is a generic test to rule out anything else.

I am experiencing the same issue. I have a RTX 2080 running on i7-8700k. The workaround is to switch fullscreen mode to "borderless fullscreen". This fixes gsync. But this is clearly a bug that got introduced by either the latest nvidia drivers or the BF:V update. Hope this is beeing looked at.

  • I have the stuttering issue also. I can't switch to border less since it just makes the stuttering even worse for me. This issue needs to be known by dice because I see a lot of other people complaining about it in the forums. It's so unacceptable that a game made in late 2018 can't work correctly with G-sync. Someone please get the word out to Dice....

  • I'm getting this in BFV and Anthem. I've tried all combinations of vsync/gsync both in game an in the Nvidia Control Panel. I either get tearing, microstutter or the game rendering at half the refresh rate.

Gsync isn't supposed to do that and I'e spend hours trying to fix it.  I've looked at my Anthem play time which is 24 hours. That's how much time I've spent attempting to rectify the issue.
