Hackers in BF5

I was wondering why when you have such a loyal fan base for Battlefield franchise

You seem to do nothing to stop hackers.

It seems to me If you would simply allow Players to vote to kick

At least the community Would at least stick by you for newer titles.

I have been playing Bf since the beginning but bf5 may be my last

It seems you don`t care about players anymore.

I know this could make a little more work but

it would allow the community to at least stop this trash from ruining your

games. Any thoughts on the suggestion would be welcome even if you disagree

Can we just have a feedback system ingame on how many players were banned every month for whatever reasons to give us morale and to limit all these hacker posts?

  • I got back into playing BF5 after taking a year break, and I was dumbfounded by the number of hackers.  It really ruins the game experience and makes me not want to play.  I am not sure EA is doing enough to stop hackers from using exploits because I see it far too often.  Your team needs to up their game or people wouldn't want to keep playing nor purchase the next BF in fall 2021.

  • EA has done nothing and its on them , They in their wise wisdom in the way they setup servers.

Over night they took away from clans to game on their own rented severs (finished it off with V)

No Anti Cheat This great one the they talk about does not work.

No dedi files so clans could run and police their own

and by the way clans running their own equipment in data centres is no different then what EA are doing

still all ran in data centres with up-to-date equipment and gig connection

As of the 08/02/2021 the amount of cheaters are full in every server i for one its time to uninstall the game waste of time playing

Will not buy another EA game as the have turned their backs on what used to be gaming clans

If they contuine to make games and have no anticheat in them then there is no point in anyone buying them

To make this work they need to dev a client side and server side anticheat package

I started this discussion to give an honest, but maybe not perfect solution to a growing problem

After the responses im getting I have decided that EA really does not care. So I will not be buying anymore

titles from them until they take a serious attitude toward the problem

Its been a good run guys thanks for all the hours of great fun But i am going to search for different

developers that care about there clients.  I have been playing battlefield since the beginning

I will miss it tremendously    Also tonight i watched a hacker spec other hackers and compliment their

cheats that was the final straw. Thank you everyone for your input and Ideas it seems the players care more than the developers.

If you go the the page Darko linked to it says there has only been  a half a dozen

bans across all ea titles in the last year that is a testimony

to there Apathy.  Also I am concerned how this can be considered

Resolved when nothing has changed only gotten worse.

  • Joined 3 separate servers encountered 3 obvious hackers, stopped playing. US servers are swarming with them.

@1ijack777 This really disheartens me cause of battlefield's unique gameplay that I love, my trust that devs will ever make the anticheat work has mostly gone.

    Hello there,

To iterate from my post here

Our work against cheating in Battlefield V will continue, too. The members of our anti-cheat team are working daily towards making the battlefield experience as free of foul play as possible. Discussing technical detail into our methods may unfortunately make cheating worse, but we want you to know that we’re constantly fighting the battle.

As a reminder, there are steps you can take to help us keep the fight fair. You can report suspected cheaters through the Origin overlay if you're playing on PC, or through your respective consoles if you're playing on Xbox One or PlayStation® 4. This walkthrough will show you how. Also, protect your EA Account so it won’t be compromised and used by cheaters. Here’s how it’s done.

With this update, we'd like to remind you to please report cheating through our official channels, instead of discussing or highlighting it via forums. This means going forward we'll close threads regarding cheating to ensure our dedicated teams can action the reports via the appropriate channels.

With that said I'm closing this topic.

    /Atic
