HDR - PC - HDR doesn't work unless windows volume overlay is displayed

Having a weird issue.  HDR doesn't work unless the Windows volume overlay is displayed on the screen.  HDR is enabled in game as well as Windows. BF5 is the only game I have this issue with.   Any id...

Hi! I just got the PG35VQ and I have the exact same issue in both BF5 and AC:Odyssey. HDR doesn't work until the windows volume overlay is displayed., I've already spent 3 days searching for a solution and I couldn't find anything ☹️ I've tried all the workarounds suggested here but nothing worked. did you guys ever figure it out?

@ElyshiaRivera Only fix that ever worked for me is to just go into Windows 10 Settings and turn HDR off.
