Hello EA TOS Team,

I am writing to appeal a ban on my account for Battlefield V. I was informed that the ban was due to "tampering with game files," but I have never used cheats, hacks, or modified any files.

 

What actually happened is a launcher sync issue between the Epic Games Store and the EA App. The game was showing as "not downloaded" on Epic Games while the EA App launched it, resulting in severe stuttering and launch issues due to incomplete/corrupted game files. The anti-cheat system triggered a false positive because of file mismatch during this corrupted state.

 

I kindly request a manual review of my case and game logs. I have always played fairly and never intentionally modified any files.

    Hello NONAME1TAP​,

    Nobody can review your account on the EA forums. You will need to wait for a response from the EA ToS on the exact ban appeal case.
