battlefield v is not lunching anymore
Hi everyone, I have a 1‑month EA Play subscription through Steam. I installed BF1 and BFV. BF1 works perfectly, but BFV stopped launching after 2 days. When I click "Play", the "Preparing Game" pop‑up appears, then nothing – only the EA app opens. The game never starts. I tried: Launching from Steam and EA app – same issue Reinstalling EA app Verifying game files on Steam (all fine) Restarting PC and updating drivers BF1 still works fine, so the problem seems specific to BFV. Any ideas? Thanks!22Views0likes1Commentvirtual controller support
hi I am a disabled gamer and heavily rely on a PlayStation style controller, I seriously hope this gets notoriety because disabled people like me use these programs to help with our disabilities. this seriously needs to be changed in my opinion and I think you guys need to start focusing on the regular cheaters with aimbot and server crashing cheats instead of worrying about virtual controllers and the programs that are used to literally make a PlayStation controller work natively with no issues. and before you comment I've tried everything with this PlayStation controller I've tried it through steam input I tried it through USB and of course I tried every work around with dsx DS4 rewasd Etc. if I have to get down on my hands and knees and beg I will because I seriously would like to play this game I wasted $20 yes I know not a big deal but it is still frustrating that I cannot play the game at all I literally paid for I wish I could switch to an Xbox controller but unfortunately my disability prevents me from doing that that's why I use a PS5 controller please once again push this so maybe EA will make a change highly doubtable though10Views0likes0CommentsLack of official servers & too many cheats!
In the past week (or two) it seems there are much fewer official DICE servers to choose from, especially in the Asia region (Singapore specifically). Now, before you throw in the old 'servers are determined by active players' nonsense – there are plenty of active players for BF V in the Asia region, but because you are taking down all the servers, we can't play, and when we do play, we get inundated with hackers because you are also not doing anything about stopping them. Just yesterday I was in a game on one of the only 2 DICE servers in the region, and it had no less than 4 hackers on one team!!! They all get reported, yet they are getting to higher and higher levels, and nothing gets done about them. It ruins the game and makes players leave and stop playing, which reduces the amount of active players. You're killing your own game by not dealing with this bullsh*t!23Views1like3CommentsBattlefield V cannot launch after uninstalling Battlefield Lab
I am seeking assistance regarding a "DirectX device creation error" that renders Battlefield V completely unplayable. The error claims my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU does not support DirectX 11.0. Standard troubleshooting steps have failed to resolve the issue. I have already utilized Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove the NVIDIA drivers and performed a clean installation via the NVIDIA App. Additionally, I have cleared the EA App cache, verified the game file integrity on Steam, and reinstalled Battlefield V today, but the error persists and the game still will not launch. This problem originated last year after I participated in the Battlefield Lab alpha and beta test. Immediately following the uninstallation of Battlefield Lab, Battlefield V became entirely unlaunchable, producing this specific error. I do not have Battlefield 2042 or Battlefield 6 installed now, so I cannot confirm if other Frostbite engine titles are similarly affected. I have already researched this issue on the EA Forum and Reddit, and I noticed that other affected players seem to have no effective solution to this day: https://forums.ea.com/discussions/battlefield-v-en/after-deleting-bf6-beta-i-cant-play-bf5/12501303 https://www.reddit.com/r/BattlefieldV/comments/1t6xije/help_battlefield_v_showing_rtx_4050_does_not/ It appears that the uninstallation of Battlefield Lab inadvertently corrupted , DirectX components, or shared files, making the game unplayable. Because standard troubleshooting and driver reinstalls have proven entirely ineffective, I would appreciate any guidance on how to identify and rectify the specific underlying modifications caused by the test client. Hello EA team, I am writing to request a manual review of my permanent ban on Battlefield V. Account Info: Platform: PC (EA App) | Current EA ID: AchengHua666 | ID at time of ban: NewB_Hua | Ban Date: January 2025. I changed my ID after submitting my second appeal; the ID at the time of the violation was NewB_Hua. Previous Appeals: I submitted two appeals via EA Help. I received a confirmation email for the second appeal over a month ago but have not received any further update since. Why I Believe This Is a False Positive: I want to present my gameplay data. My account "NewB_Hua" is publicly visible on Battlefield Tracker. My overall KD is around [0.51] —stable over time with no abnormal spikes. My matches before the ban (January 2025) show normal performance consistent with my historical average. My Request: Could the team please check the specific match and timestamp that triggered the ban on "NewB_Hua", and compare that match against my overall historical data? If a specific program was flagged, please let me know so I can avoid it in the future. I have been playing Battlefield since [BF1] and have invested hundreds of hours in the franchise. I am only asking for a human second look at my case. Thank you.Solved122Views0likes8CommentsWrongful Permanent Ban on Battlefield V
Dear EA Terms of Service Team, I am submitting this final appeal after all previous ones were rejected. My Battlefield V account was permanently banned on May 7, 2026. I have never cheated or used any hacks, macros, or third-party tools. I am a legitimate paying player who has spent over 100 USD / 600 RMB on weapon skins. I registered in 2022 and have played 666 hours legitimately. I live in China and use a game accelerator, which may have caused IP changes leading to a false positive. I have no reason to cheat. This account has been part of my life for 4 years. Losing it after so much time and money invested is heartbreaking. I kindly request one final thorough manual review of my gameplay logs. I swear I am innocent. Please restore my account, progress, and purchased items.Solved67Views0likes3Comments- 43Views0likes1Comment
Does EA actually care about its players?
Hi everyone, It feels like a complete waste of effort. No matter how many times I try to explain my situation, all I get in return are cold, automated, copy-paste responses. It is incredibly frustrating and leaves me completely speechless. Does EA actually care about its community, or are we just shouting into the void? I’ve been trying to appeal a false ban that my friends (XZG1949101, wdnmdblyeat) and I (TX-Wkey) received nine months ago after playing in a private ROG booth at an internet cafe. As a software engineering student nearing graduation, I even explained the technical likelihood of a false positive in that environment. I also highlighted my long-term loyalty to this franchise, owning Battlefield 4, 1, V, 2042, and 6 on my account. Yet, none of that matters to EA’s support. Every single appeal is met with the exact same robotic script. It is absolutely infuriating. How can a major gaming company completely ignore its players’ genuine voices and rely solely on cold, unhelpful bots? Does EA actually want to face its players, or are you happy to let automated scripts alienate your most dedicated community members? Has anyone else faced this endless loop of robotic rejections? If any Community Manager is actually reading this, please prove to us that there are real humans working behind the scenes who care enough to look into genuine cases.Solved86Views1like2CommentsThe armory needs an update
I’ve recently gotten back into Battlefield V and noticed I still have some leftover BFC coins unused. Will the holiday bundles make a return? I’m especially fond of the Halloween bundle—it’d be such a shame if these seasonal bundles never come back for the holidays. Also, have the rewards for Tides of War been changed? Why is there a weekly quest that only gives 200 Company Coins? Could this be a bug?66Views0likes2Comments
