@DOEFCIf you are talking about cover that is really close to you, in that case it is intended. I think that change came to the Battlefield series in Battlefield 4, if I´m not mistaken. Before that change, bullets would "come out" from the soldier models head. Back then the community complained about to much headglitching and not really being able to counter that, because there was so less of the soldier model revealing over the cover, that it was pretty much impossible to hit them.
Dice changed the game so bullets "come out" of the soldier model in the chest area i believe. For that reason you will hit your cover, if your are to close to it and can barely look over it.
- 7 years ago@N4v1s Thank you for the reply. Your reply has answered part of the question which I didn't know about so thanks for that. But it does not explain why I still hit the cover when I'm about 10 feet behind it like last night I was playing on Twisted Steel conquest I was aiming at a target through the anti-tank barricade I was about 10 to 15 feet away from the the barricade but my bullet was hitting the middle of the barricade and then I was killed.

@DOEFCOh ok that is what you are talking about. Well I know those situations, but this problem is a part of pretty much every game out there. That happens when the hitboxx of an object doesn´t have the same dimensions as the textures applied to it. In these cases you might hit the objectives hitbox, even though it is invisible to you.
In some games this problem is even dependend on the distance to the object. Sacriel showed that on his stream in PUBG. He was aiming at a ridge and you could see another layer of textures appearing or rather disappearing just by going a step forwards and backwards. Sadly I´m not able to find the clip right now.
As you know exactly the object it happened for you, you could try to record it ingame, post it here and maybe the AT-Barricade can be fixed in a future update. 🙂
