Just watched battlefield V video

It is not for me personally. Battlefield 4 looked better and more than likely will play smoother. If it has microtransactions for pay to play, forget it! I would rather pay 1 time for a game and then pay for each DLC with no powerups for players. They say the industry is going in the microtransactions direction, but look at the games that are succeeding with that, small games that are mainly browser type and easy to play apps, not big title games. Who wants to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars just to level up when you know that the hackers and cheaters will already be leveled up by the time you get to play the game. That is another thing, hacks/cheaters are dominating battlefield 4 and battlefront 2 and it would seem the system being used to stop that does nothing. Maybe it is time to go back to using punkbuster, some other anti-cheat 3rd party or just give the servers back to the community to control their own.

It's officially confirmed that there will be no Premium Pass in BFV, No loot Boxes and it's for sure Not Pay to Win!

You'll make progress and unlock new stuff through playing the Game. 🙂

Maybe only cosmetic stuff can be able to unlock by other ways as well, just stuff that doesn't influence the gameplay. (But no randomness like in BF1!)

  • From what I understand there is no 'Premium Pass' and no 'pay to win' economy.

That makes me interested in this game.

@shade1968 no Premium Pass this time. As for microtransactions, it seems thwey will all be about cosmetics and nothing else. Anything that actually relates to gameplay, you will be able to get by playing and not by paying.

As for the anti-cheat, yeah, we can hope that it will improve.
