Ever since the latest update I've been losing connection to my game on EA and it's becoming very annoying I can't even play battlefield v without losing connection to EA servers

@RB_FredFB Same, mostly random. Even happens periodically while idle in the main menu screen, it will cycle thru attempting to auto reconnect several times (clicking sound) and will stay disconnected until manually reconnecting.Also, spamming join squad when getting the "failed to join squad" error will disconnect you. Not sure if it's related.

@EA_Blueberry It isn't an issue with his internet, it is the game. Happening to every single person on my friends list who plays BF5 since the update, it d/cs you at will, can't even finish a full game right now. Literally unplayable on xbox right now. I feel like I am playing BF1 all over again, especially with the not signing in automatically and always starting the game offline. Also disconnects you from the game every time you hit the xbox button.

@RB_FredFB same, EVERYTIME I press my xbox controller button it disconnects me from the game and servers. Also happens when I get a party invite or message and well. very infuriating

@EA_Blueberry it's on Xbox as well and nothing to do with our internet ... It's to do with the 4.6 update.
The game even starts off disconnected, then after pressing RT it connects ... Then randomly disconnects whether you manage to load a game or whether you're in a menu.

This post is from January. The team is aware of the Xbox home button causing disconnections and is looking to address it ASAP. It's tasked as a high priority on the Trello board.

Ya I realized that after, it was a top post for me because somebody replied recently, thought it was that issue. Also thanks for the heads up, haven't heard anything about EA knowing about it tbh.
Also isn't just with the xbox button, everyone on xbox is constantly loosing connection to ea servers just as a heads up. My two buddies and me cannot even play a full round of conquest without being disconnected.

@EA_Blueberry The task on the Trello board refers to people with EA access and pressing the Xbox home button. I'm getting frequent disconnects at random and I don't have EA access. I think the same applies to a lot of people who are having this problem. Are the Devs aware of this?
