lag switches, network manipulations
Does this effect console gaming? What is EA's approach to protect its players from cheaters using such game breaking devices?

It's been an age since I last heard anyone talk about lag switching (MGO2 days at least). I won't claim they are extinct but controller manipulation and the classing plug and play mouse and keyboard setup is vastly more common.
