Letter "m" appears next to Tank & Weapon Crosshairs

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get in a Greyhound tank. Zoom in several times.
What happens when the bug occurs? A red "m" appears near the center of the crosshair at various places.
What should be happening instead? This shouldn't appear, unless there's a functional purpose for it?

I've noticed that the letter "m" in red appears next to the center crosshair while zoomed in using a tank. In my example, The "m" appears at various positions around the center of the screen/crosshair. I've seen it with the Greyhound and I believe the Puma as well. Not sure about other tanks but they should be checked as well. 

EDIT: this has been seen on infantry weapons' crosshairs as well. The crosshair and letter "m" color depends on the color the player selected in Options.
