lewft alt dings in window mode

(Playing on Windows 7)

Anyone have a problem with the new BFV update in regards to the OS playing the 'windows ding' sound whenever left alt + any key is pressed? makes VOIP very annoying. 

I thought it was my new keyboard, but i plugged the old one in and the the same result. I did notice that this only happens in "windowed mode," not fullscreen (and doesn't happen while outside BFV).

Was hoping that there is a solution for windowed mode, if not, i guess it is back to fullscreen.

    I have had Windows sounds and internal PC speaker disabled completely for the last 20 years since it bothers me too much. Not a real solution but a way to get by perhaps?

    That seems like a viable workaround if you're looking to play in Windowed mode. Does that help solve this question for you?
