The answer still is a perm ban from EA , I haven't read / heard anything about unbans
The answer is that this literally never happened, and that your only source is two random users on a lutris forum post that claimed to have been banned, and decided themselves that it was because of Wine/DXVK (EA never once actually said that). TWO random people on a forum post claimed to have been banned, and everyone got in a huge uproar.
There were never any "Linux bans," it never happened, everyone literally flipped out over nothing, and it was legitimately something the community should be ashamed of (getting that out of sorts over two random people making a claim with no evidence whatsoever).
Tens of thousands of Linux users have played Battlefield V for years (including myself), and there has never been any evidence whatsoever of any sort of banwave (and actually there's never even been any CLAIM of any ban waves, just those two random people on a forum post).
