So apparently, EA decided to ban players using DXVK and Wine in order to play Battlefield games on the GNU/LINUX platform. Will EA do nothing about this? Players are getting banned without any reason, it's their platform of choice and they should be able to play it. Cheaters are literally everywhere on BFV yet innocent players on Linux get banned for nothing? Does EA at least unban people if they have been banned for the use of DXVK and/or Wine?
EA FairPlay bans Linux players playing Battlefield V. this is due to workarounds required to translate DirectX to Vulkan using DXVK and also Wine, a compatibility layer that runs Windows applications on a Linux environment.
This is the problem with sparta and qtwebengine service our privacy has been open up to everything including hackers that hax EA servers which has happened, I suggest anyone taking over ownership then set group policy limiting data sent. Protect your Computer, that does not mean winblows security updates, they leave back doors to these services.
