Low fps on High end pc in BF5

HI i have a pc with.MSi 490z  i7 10700k 32 gb 3200 mhz ram msi trio x 2070 rtx. BUT in bf5 fps is max 40 and in need for speed heat max 24 what the hell is wrong with my computer its updatet and all

  • apparently the problem is solved have bought a new samsung evo ssd and now run it at 120+ fps it was otherwise on a kingston 240 ssd but do not know exactly what has happened but now it works. Many thanks for the help

    I know this is probably obvious,but are you running in dx12, if yes try running in dx11

    Have you tried deleting the config setting for battlefield 5(backup first) see if it makes any difference

    Do you know what your usages of your cpu and gpu are while ingame? also what is your monitor size and hz?

    Also just because you said 24 and 40, in nvidia control panel, in manage 3d setting, than program settings, find/add battlefield 5 and need for speed if they are not in the list and turn vertical sync to off, see if that helps

  • the games run perfeckt for 1 mound ago. i hawe opdated driver and so on, the only thind i have don is watching youtube the last month, no new programs I run the game on ultra 1920/1080 144 htz no 4 k
