low GPU usage with i9-12900KS

current specs:

i9-12900ks overclocked at 5.3ghz (all p-cores)

msi rtx 4090

32gb ddr4 3600 mhz cl18

I’m playing in 4k with the highest settings except motion blur and ray tracing, I removed the fps limiter (which limits at 200 fps),
but the use of the gpu remains on 75%. cpu use is 50% so ok.

I found a single online video of someone who removed the limiter, has a 5800x3d and the gpu went 100% in his video, the average was 210 fps, while in my pc I do 175-180 fps just because the gpu is not at the maximum.
ddr4 account for at most 3% loss, very far from the 25% I see.

in recent titles I have absolutely no problems.

Totally normal. Your DDR4 is not great. You really need 4000mhz+ with tighter timings for that CPU, especially in BF5.

Additionally, I guess AMD, particularly the 3D variants work better in BF5.

Run the game as administrator to get a 5-10% boost in CPU performance. That should gain you a good few FPS.

But you wont get the best possible game experience in BF5 until you reduce the latency on your RAM.
