Forum Discussion
Dear EA,
I have been a loyal Battlefield player on PC since the first Battlefield 1942. In my opinion Battlefield games are hands down the most fun and challenging FPS games. I do not believe I have ever seen cheating and hacking take place as much as I have on Battlefield 5. I am a Canadian player living in Taiwan, so I play on Asian servers. These servers are infested with Chinese hackers. I am not being racist, it is a fact that 90% of them come from China. I can no longer just leave a server with a hacker and join another, because most servers have them now. It is making the game unplayable at this point. Someone may say that this rant shouldn't be on the technical issue forum, well it is a technical issue now because EA has not implemented any reasonable defense against cheating for Battlefield 5. I have tried to play on European and North American servers, but the ping sucks because my location. I thought that over the year since the release of this game that EA would have taken some kind of measure to fix this, but no...the problem has gotten worse. Either implement some kind of anti-cheating or region lock China because any other players in Asia, outside of China will not buy your next Battlefield game. Oh and reporting does nothing apparently. Honestly there is just too many hackers online cheating that I would spend most of my free game time just reporting hackers and not playing the game I spent money on.This is not an exaggeration.

As I said on a previous post earlier today:
"If it was only that simple, if you look at majority of these Asian based "cheaters" many of them are being supplied these accounts from the US or EU, they'll also run VPNs and other systems to show inccorect IP information. The problem is that because a lot of Western Countries are actually supplying the cheats which are integrated within the accounts themselves at a relatively cheap price, many of these players within Asia are all running the same scripts and so their servers are practically unplayable.
So they're now going into other servers around the world and what they don't realize, is cheating is frowned upon heavily in all other regions, whereas in their regions it's not, so to them they're just playing the way they're use to. I don't believe they're intentionally trying to cause disruptions and there's a number of videos you can find on Youtube where players contact these people and ask why they use these scripts.
They explain that if you don't use it on their servers you're immediately at a disadvantage and so this shows it's learnt behavior. I'm not defending their actions, what I am saying is attempting to block them will be a futile effort and so the effort should be put into stopping the scripts and the people supplying them 1st. Trying to block IP's is like trying to build a boat after the flood has already come"
Unfortunately we can't physically do more for you here in this community forum, other than give you the below link if you're in game and suspect another user of cheating. Please report these suspected players using the steps in this help article:

You can also find more info here:

I'd highly suggest you read the article started by @EA_Atic here:

It may take time, as there's no-doubt a large backlog of reports for EA to sift through but their account will be studied and if they're found to indeed be up to no good, they will be handled.
If I've helped answer your question and helped put you at ease that there are other players who do feel what you're going through and EA is aware of the issue. Hopefully things clear up and you can get back to enjoying the game 🙂- 6 years ago
TLDR: EA is helpless against cheaters. suck it up and play the game. Delete this post if u think its true. Like this post if u think its true

I do report them. I am reporting them more than I am actually playing the game, this is not an exaggeration in the least. There are just too many of them. Here is my Battlefield 5 routine now: Enter game, either get killed in an almost impossible scenario or see other players complain about hackers, look at scoreboard and see players with ridiculous amount of kills(say 104 -2), report players(Usually 3 or 4 PER GAME not just 1), leave server, join different server, repeat process a few time, get annoyed, quit and play something else. This is not fun. I seen people mention the reasons why Chinese players hack and honestly I don't care about the reasons they do it, I want EA to fix the damn problem. I have lived in Taiwan for 12 years, my wife is Taiwanese, I know about Asian cultures and I can speak Chinese.(Taiwan's official language) I don't want to hear people make excuses for Chinese hackers, with some cultural BS.

Get home from from teaching 100 or so crazy kids English, make a cup of tea, time to relax and play some Battlefield. Wasted another 2 hours reporting hackers and server jumping. Every single server once again full of hackers. The game is just unplayable at this point, at least on Asian servers. It has been well over a year now and it hasn't gotten any better, actually I'm pretty sure it is much worse. Thanks for caring EA. I'm done.

@CanadaWhiteWolfThere has been some things done, they may use the cheat a few times, but eventually the game will not run because of sparta data analyest and qtweb security will put an end to this, if they want to play.
Rather me write I will give a line to what ID_Sparta is.
https://readthedocs.org/projects/sparta/downloads/pdf/latest/Copy and paste
SPARTA is a workflow aimed at analyzing single-end Illumina RNA-seq data. The software is supported on Win-dows, Mac OS X, and Linux platforms. The workflow combines several tools: Trimmomatic (read trimming/adapterremoval), FastQC (read quality analysis), Bowtie (mapping reads to the reference genome), HTSeq (transcript/genefeature abundance counting), and edgeR (differential gene expression analysis). Within the differential gene expres-sion analysis step, batch effects can be detected and the user is warned of the potential, unintended additional variable.
Me and some buds and squad members have noticed a decline in cheats.
