misplaced game event sounds at spawn locations

I don´t know if this does happen on Stationary AA weapons in general, but for me it is 100% happening playing iwht PC on Fjell, when you are using the AA at the back of the UK main spawn point on conquest. Sitting in there you are able to hear respawn, revive and resupply sounds being played, without anybody being close to you.

I looked at it for a little longer and I am pretty sure, that the sound you can hear are from your squad, or one squadmate in particular.

  • Had similar experiences, but not specific to AA or Fjell.

    To my (limited) understanding, it seems to happen at spawn locations (as you mentioned) on any map.

    I also noticed similar misplaced sound effects at vehicle spawns, for example hearing the sound of turning turret at a vehicle spawn location while no vehicle was there.

    Hard to say with 100% confidence if these sounds match with in game events (because they are not happening at the same location), but it seems very likely (these are NOT looping sounds and their occurrence seems deliberate).

    And it's definitely not a soundcard problem because these sounds have a very clear fixed position in the 3D world (using BFV excellent 3D Headphone sound spatialization btw).

    Sadly, this is probably a very old bug in the Frostbyte engine because it also happened in Battlefield 1 if my memory serves me right ...

    Feels great to know I'm not the only one with auditory hallucination though 🙂

    @Tom_of_Power Well maybe we are going crazy, wouldn´t be too unlikely in the current situation. :D
    I figured, it is my squadmates sound I´m hearing, because the respawning and reviving sounds would perfectly line up with that event happening for a squadmember.
    I never encountered it before, but I wouldn´t be surprised by a bug exisiting for several itterations of the game.

    It's definitely not an AA specific bug so this title could be misleading.
