Mouse wheel weapon scroll in bfv

Why am I unable to scroll through my weapons and gadgets with my mouse scroll wheel? I simply cannot understand why you would change game play controls from one Battlefield game to another. I've been playing for years with this scroll feature. Please at least give us the option to activate this feature in BFV. How hard is it to add this? I am old, 67, it is hard to play the game for fun when I am fumbling for number keys. !! LOL Thanks. Please give mouse scroll back.
