Yes I was playing on European servers, however ive been online gaming since the year 2000 and the netcode isnt as bad with 150 ping. no im not trolling this is an issue. why is the netcode so bad in BF games when 150 ping is average anyway. the hit detection is so terrible in BF with 150 - 170 ping its not even funny. is the hit detection client side or server side or what in some games its client side so its like always playing with low ping. anyway it needs work ive seen better hit detection on games 5+ years older.
not trying to hate on BF its my only complaint of the game gameplay wise that i noticed. it needs a fix. i dont think its my internet im using spectrum with 400mb download and upload was like 50 or somewhere around there in a speed test anyway i download atleast 50mb a second.
Nono, I'm really saying 150-170 should not be normal since it really is the worst ping to have (in this franchise). It has to do with the sheer amount of data running through the servers at any given time - it just so happens that hit reg and everything goes haywire at that number.
If you are at 150-170 in your own region then something is definitely interfering with the connection on your end; were you able to do a UO Trace? (support will most likely as you do do this). Fiber and other amazing connections don't necessarily mean that multiplayer will be perfect; there is most likely a firewall or other security feature that toggles the flow in a sense. Any other ping should be fine for you but I totally agree, this shouldn't be a problem in this day and age.
