So I had this problem and managed to fix it. To fix it, follow these steps:
1. Save all of your game save data to online storage. Push the options button on your controller while on BFV on the PS4 home screen. Go to “upload/download saved data”. Select upload all and confirm.
2. Once your save game data (your progress through the game) has been uploaded, completely delete BFV from your console and reinstall along with all BFV updates. On the home screen again, while BFV is selected, push options and then select “delete” and confirm.
3. Once BFV is installed, you can download your save game data the same way you uploaded it and play BFV again!
it takes a while, but it works
