No more preselected classes and characterizations in vehicles

Platform:Microsoft XBOX One

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Choose a class and character customization then spawn into a vehicle, tank airplane then exit vehicle to see difference
What happens when the bug occurs? Not sure if this is a bug
What should be happening instead? No more preselected classes and characters when selecting vehicles in multiplayer

When spawning into a vehicle be it an apc, tank, or airplane, i should be able to be the class i chose in the menu before playing the match, for instance if I choose medic or sniper that's what I should be when I'm in the tank or decide to leave the tank, when I get out it gives me a pre selected class plus it wont let me wear my customized character skin or skin purchased online, i paid good money for these skins, weapons, camos, and other dlc to enhance my gaming experience and should be able to use them at anytime within the game, bfv is an amazing game and a lot of fun to play, hopefully these issues can be addressed to make the experience better for all of us, thank you for listening it is appreciated.

    This is not a bug.. If you spawn to plane, you will be pilot class.. Same for tank. If you spawn to a tank, you will be tanker class..

    Both classes have STEN as primary weapon.. Only change is that Tanker has AT mines and pilot has Flare gun as gadget.. 🙂

    @Preachyhippo When you select to spawn in as a tanker or Pilot, you are opting for that playstyle. Should you want to bail out of either you will remain that class until you go down and respawn.

    As of right now there is no indication if we're going to be able to customize the tanker or pilot appearance and just think of it like the elite classes we were able to play in BF1. Hypothetically if you had an Elite skin you bought in BF1 and then choose to pick up the flamethrower or juggernaut kit, would you expect it to still show the skin you bought?

    In regards to the class you pre-selected at the menu, by selecting the Pilot or Tanker you are pre-selecting that class in the game, which has it's own unique look and loadout. This is the same as for when someone selected to play as Calvary, Pilot or Tanker in BF1

    I hope this has helped answer your question and clarified a few things 🙂
