I've mostly been using the Mk III Elite Combat Dagger (pre-order bonus) since launch but it's missing from my player stats (kills per weapon, etc). It's not included in the in-game player profile and it's also absent from third-party stats sites (battlefieldtracker.com). The kill count seems to be included in my total Dogtags Taken stat though. I'm playing BFV on PS4.
Community ManagerI searched the these boards and the official Battlefield forums, so far this is the only report we have. If you switch to a different knife and back does that trigger the kill to start tracking for you?
I just equipped the Jack Knife for the first time and got 2 kills with it. After the round my profile stats showed 2 kills with the Jack Knife and my Dogtags Taken total had increased by 2. I then re-equipped the Elite Combat Dagger and got 2 kills with that in the following round. Afterwards my Dogtags Taken had increased by another 2 but there were still no stats shown for the ECD.
I could only find two channels on Youtube with the Elite Combat Dagger mentioned in video titles. Both players had multiple kills with it in multiplayer but neither has any stats for this weapon on battlefieldtracker.com. I also looked up the top 30 PS4 players on the same site (up to 700 hrs each) and none had ECD stats.
While searching I found comments on Youtube, Reddit and here on Answers HQ from players who had pre-ordered the game but didn't get the knife. Perhaps only a few people have the stats bug because more people have the unlock bug instead!
Same for me... no stats for the Elite dagger. The new Lever Pipe doesn't show up either. I've used the dagger alot, but can't see how many kills I've got with it. I'm on PC.
Any news on how to fix this?
This issue persists six months later. My weapon stats include guns added after launch that I've never used, but my Elite Combat Dagger is still missing.
(The stats screen can't handle my Sweet Wombat Swagger!)
I've also used the paratrooper switchblade and the new Arditi Dagger but they are also absent.
My Dogtags Taken stat is 163 but my listed melee weapon kills only sum to 68 (and that's including the machete which I only used in the campaign).

The in-game stats and battlefieldtracker.com are now finally showing my ECD kills. 🥳
Still missing the switchblade and Arditi though.
