Summarize your bug I cant pick the katana nor the flamethrower. Its been so ever since the items where introduced When I target either one of the items the ingame help message reads "HOLD TO PICK UP Katana".
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? How would I know?
What happens when the bug occurs? I dont pick up the katana or the flamethrower.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to pick up the katana or the flamethrower.

I know its the "use" button you are suppose to use, but I cant seem to pick it up.
