Only Getting 60-80 FPS in BFV with i78700k+AsusROGStrix

Hey guys I really need some help on this one, my ASUS Rog Strix 1070 ti and i78700k are only getting 60-80 FPS on ultra settings with framelimit at 200 and future frame rendering on for extra perform...

    Sorry for the late response, but it turns out I didn’t have DirectX12 enabled the whole time lol, I am now getting 100-130 FPS consistently except for more hardware taxing maps such as twisted steel where it occasionally dips under 100 which is understandable. Thank you for your help and have a good one 🙂

@F2PSocial No card should be ok I will say its settings in NVIDIA and in game try this or check this is all done please...

First step open Nvidia Control panel under 3D settings go to Adjust image settings with preview

Pick use my preference and set it to performance and hit apply.

Next step in game video settings advanced .....



Make sure frame rate limiter is set to 200

future frame rendering- on

vertical sync- off

GPU memory restriction- off

Below set everything to custom or low



Under video Basic ....



motion blur set to 0



To see fps in game with no typing do this....



To see FPS in game with out fraps etc:
1- open note pad
2-put this in the note pad.....

perfoverlay.drawfps 1

Perfoverlay.fpsdisplayscale 4 <<< this can change to 3 or 2 or 1 depending how big or small you want it. 4 is large.
3-when you make the user.cfg in notepad,change the file type from text to all. And name it user.cfg
4-Put in .....:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 5
5-Also close Origin to put cfg in just to be safe :}
6-You will see your FPS in top right of screen when you start BF5

Why low or custom settings the people hitting around 100 FPS are on all Ultra Settings so I don’t understand why my situation is different

    @F2PSocial Its the settings I wanted you to do and its your choice if you test on low , med or ultra

      Sorry I don’t think was clear on what I meant by that. This is the guy I watched he has a 1070ti as well on ultra settings and getting way more FPS than I am and I don’t understand why other people in the comments seem to be getting those same numbers as well

        @F2PSocial Ah ok got you this may help ...

        1- Not all video cards are made the same  for example ...

        ROG Strix OC 1080ti its specs are....

        Engine Clock - OC Mode - GPU Boost Clock : 1708 MHz , GPU Base Clock : 1594 MHz
        Gaming Mode (Default) - GPU Boost Clock : 1683 MHz , GPU Base Clock : 1569 MHz

        • Memory Clock
          11100 MHz (OC Mode)
          11010 MHz (Gaming Mode) (Default)
        •  
          EVGA1080ti specs..
        • Base Clock: 1569 MHZ
        • Boost Clock: 1683 MHz
        • Memory Clock: 11016 MHz

        Has he OC his video card and OC his CPU all this comes into play.

        And as your screen res also comes into play and this is why @HiredRanger asked :] As well as is it a 60hrz 144hrz or 4k screen as each one uses more of your resources. I game on big screens for example my main rig is on a Samsung 49" CHG90 QLED Gaming Monitor 144Hrz 1ms refresh rate. My screen res is 3840 X 1080 I pull off 140 - 190 FPS on low in BFV.  I am more worried on my FPS then I am about playing on Ultra . And I also make sure all things like driver and settings are done a specific way due to I want my PCs stable and two to pull out the most FPS I can. If I gamed on a 27in screen 1920 X 1080 then yes I would be locked down at 200FPS in BFV on low.

        CPU comes into play a bit ...A faster CPU will increase FPS, though not as much as an improved graphics card, and more RAM will allow your computer to manage your operating system and applications more effectively.
