Optical Audio Drops Out When Starting Battlefield V

Hello,  Everytime I boot up BFV the Battlefield V boot screen comes up and music plays through Digital Audio Output to my Headphones while boot screen is up, then drops out and there is no sound at ...

    Hey @Nashic, start the game up and then tab out and look to see if windows changed the default device for where audio should come out.

Hello @EA_Atic,

Checked the windows default audio device and found it was set to headphones, also checked Realtek and found default playback was set to microphone, swapped it to headphones and in game audio works correctly now.

      I appear to be having the EXACT same problem where you get the initial audio and then it just vanishes. Where do I check the realtek default playback and the windows default audio device?

        Bottom right corner there should be a Realtek shortcut or open the application.
