@EA_Atic
- What did you do just before the crash happen? Playing BFV I can get the crash BFV stopped working mid game or when I quit the game, not every map I can go a hr I get the crash.
- Does it happen in all game modes? Yes
- Does it always happen at the same action/place? No
This started on new PC build No OC done yet on CPU, GPU and not even XMP set in bios yet :/
Ran windows scans zero errors in windows
Ran stress tests on PC 60min always passes
Ran a clean boot still crashes in BFV
Ran repair game it will fix nothing
Made second window account lol noy joy
Done more clean formats then I care to admit to and always install newest drivers crash still happens and always the same BFV stopped working KernalBase dll error , I saved a few crashes from event Viewer if you need or want them.
With ever format I take my C drive into bios and reset the ssd back to factory default as I want to be 100% sure its a clean windows install. And do the same on my EA games SSD in bios / set SSD back to factory default. No joy always the same in BFV
Edit... I did way more testing trying to fix this and never any joy this is a outline what I tried to fix it.
The kicker is my old game rig I did a manual OC and a OC on GPU it runs BFV stable and has never crashed once in BFV. This new PC no OC no xmp no GPU OC and it will always crash with same error. Yes all my gear is very new and this could be the issue for BFV.

EDIT @EA_Atic ... With all my trouble shooting I changed out more then a few video card drivers on my 1080ti but the 419.67 driver was not out yet so all video card drivers I tried on my 1080ti was no fix. This week after much saving I was able to buy the ROG Strix OC 2080Ti the last part needed for my new build and as always used DDU cleaner in safe mode to remove old driver. Turned off PC put in new card blah blah blah and put in 419.67 driver played 4hrs Wed and 6hrs Thursday no KernalBase Dll error :] Still gun shy but it seems to be fixed on my new rig :]
I did a write up in hopes it can help someone else... https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/How-I-fixed-Kernallbase-dll-error-BFV-on-NVIDIA-I-hope-it-helps/td-p/7770718
