Text chat and Profile Names
I know this has been a topic before and EA haven't done anything to alleviate the issue so I'm hoping bringing it up again(7 years later) might get some proper answers or action.
Everything was fine for years. Then out of nowhere I was no longer able to chat in-game. I could type out a message and hit enter but it wouldn't show up in the chat.
I narrowed this down to being part of my profile name (SNIPER) that was for some reason now no longer allowed.
I changed my name a bit and it worked for a while. Then it happened again. I made more adjustments to my name and it was good for a little while before happening AGAIN.... Now I'm stuck where every iteration of my name is not allowed and I cant change it because all the ways I try to get it are not "proper names".
Why EA? Why does this keep happening and why does EA not fix it so people can carry on enjoying a great game?
I can't tell people where tanks or AAs are setup, I can't tell people where the enemy might be flanking. It just has me literally flying solo.
Can we PLEASE get a whitelist for names or have this ridiculous censor thing adjusted or for this point in BFV, TURN IT OFF so it doesn't keep ruining the experience?!
Also, I'd like to be able to have my original desired profile name back WITHOUT being censored.... It's NOT offensive, It's NOT racist... It's just a descriptive name that represents ME and I got so many people over the years saying they loved my name.
