PC - Crashing issue - Information request.

Hey soldier, 

We are currently in process of gathering information about crashing issues with Battlefield V for PC so we can determine the root cause of the issue. If you are experiencing any crashes with Battlefield V reply with the follow information below.

The information we need: 

  • We need Dxdiag, to see what Hardware and drivers you are using.
  • What did you do just before the crash happen?
  • Does it happen in all game modes?
  • Does it always happen at the same action/place?
  • Time & date of when the issue happen, add in what time zone you are in.  (Example: 01/01/20 - 15:45 GMT)
    • NOTE: Very important that the time is accurate. Can't be more then 10 minutes off.

    • What did you do just before the crash happen?

    Playing as normal

    • Does it happen in all game modes?

    Rush

    • Does it always happen at the same action/place?

    Any time, any place

    • What did you do just before the crash happen?
      Just played the game. 
    • Does it happen in all game modes?
      Yes - conquest, rush, team deathmatch, breaktrough. All of them.
    • Does it always happen at the same action/place?
      No. Totally random.
      Can crash in the middle of a fight or when just running around the map without any warnings.

    • What did you do just before the crash happen?
      • Normal gameplay. Doesn't seem to be any relation to a specific action.
    • Does it happen in all game modes?
      • Yes
    • Does it always happen at the same action/place?
      • No. Never seen it crash in the menu, but always during gameplay.

    Hi,

    Please make sure you have NEW Windows Update.

    Well I did a long new Windows Update last night.

    Update just came out. Windows May have fixed a issue with a update they came out earlier.

    I believe this was my issue. Ive played 3 hours without crashing.

    All the troubleshooting I did.

    I really hope this is the fix for everyone. Ill come back and let you know if i crash in the next few days.

    • What did you do just before the crash happen?
      playing the game, in a match or in the menus doesn´t make a difference

      yes

    • no, happens randomly

    Was playing normal, screen freezes and them back to desktop.

    Does it happen in all game modes?
    Yes.

    The game consistently crashes after playing 1.5 rounds of conquest, breakthrough and rush.

    There isn't really a specific action I can recognize that triggers this. There are no error codes. Then the game just hard crashes to desktop.

    • What did you do just before the crash happen? Shot down a plane with Stuka, 5 secs. later disconnected from game.
    • Does it happen in all game modes?  Yes.
    • Does it always happen at the same action/place?  No.

    BF V stays up, but I get disconnected from game at least once every day I play.

    will crashe from 2mins to 15 and 1hr gameplay in conquest rush

    Crashes happen randomly, they can happen 3 times in one hour or once in 3-4 hours. No evidence so far they are player action related, they can happen when there is a lot of going on the screen and in empty areas when doing nothing. I seem to get less crashes when running in DirectX12, but I haven't played like this for long enough to be sure.
