Go to Documents/Battlefield V/settings and renaming PROFSAVE_tmp to PROFSAVE and see if that fix's it. If there are no files in that folder it means your antivirus is blocking them from being saved.

I looked through that directory and found several PROSAVE_* files. I changed each one to PROFSAVE while renaming the others as backups in the process, and none of them brought back my settings. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Now I'm really upset. I've tried working from scratch and even through a Google search, I can't find where user.cfg goes so I can set a specific frame rate limited to launch so my Gsync monitor works correctly. I can't find my Battlefield V installation anywhere in places that would be relevant.
- sk1lld4 years agoLegend@MeowKittieMeow User.cfg goes into the settings folder in "Documents, battlefield, settings" That's were all your settings in game are.
In your user name you don't have any special charters do you? Because they can sometimes interfere with saving settings.
