Having the exact same problem, have had it for a couple of days. Gonna try DDU and use an older Nvidia driver from November. Seif that fixes this.
Edit. It did not solve anything.

Hi again! NOW IT WORKS! :D
Have been running a couple of rounds now and it doesn't crash anymore. I am using Asus GPU Tweak 2 with RTX 2080ti. I did activate the silent profile which downclocked my GPU. I am still getting the same performance as with the scanner profile.
So if you are running this type of tool, test to underclock your GPU.
Best Regards

a first quick test seems to support the hypothesis - underclocking (!) the 2080 Ti by approx. 10% seems to help (but I haven't played enough to be certain)

Hi and thanks for all of your comments.
I'm having that issue and I've been crazy for a month trying to solve the problem (new Windows install, BFV install in different disks (SSD, HDD), running apps as Admin, testing my RAM, etc. and I didn't found a solution. The only solution I had was with an old NVIDIA Drivers, but BFV had an update and force me to have at least de 416.xxx version and it's f*** me.
Also, I've a MSI GTX 1080 and I'm just thinking that maybe it has an OC by factory (MSI O.C.), and I want to know if you do that downclocked with the same MSI Afterburner downgrading literally the Clock frequency, ¿it'st just like that? (I've never did a downclock before). This days I'll try the Stingray_DE advices and I hope to play more than 5-10 min without a crash :S
Again, thanks to all for all of your comments and support.
- 7 years agoIts crazy, that u have to do all these steps to play this game... It should work fine without installiong/reinstalling things.
- 7 years agoLast night DX11 worked for me. Today it's just as bad as DX12 post patch. 144 FPS but sluggish gameplay, gsync showing on but there's screen tearing. I believe they released another PC patch this morning. Game ran smooth for weeks. Multiple fresh OS installs, driver installs. It's not our computers it's a combination of Dice, Nvidia and Microsoft imo. They are all releasing a bunch of patches right now and it's causing issues. This happens every BF release...EVERY BF release and it's getting annoying.
