Random freezes while playing Battlefield 5

I've had this random freezes in the last month or so.
I'm playing and the game just freezes for some seconds and after that it goes back to normal.
I tried many things like lowering the graphics, or also trying an older nvidia driver (cause i thought the new one was the problem) but nothing helped.
Nothing worked, and as far as I know, many other people have this issue and some of them think is the anticheat scanning the computer to check files.
Battlefield 5 is the only game that gives me this issue, very annoying.

  • I found what was causing the freeze, hopefully it can help other people too.

    I was using MSI Afterburner to control my fan speed, especially while playing games cause CPU temperature gets really high, and that software was the cause!

  • Hello @Shevare,

    Have you tried reinstalling the game and updating both your CPU and GPU drivers? Also, check for Windows updates.

    Yes, I first verified files and then when I saw it didn't work I deleted the game completely and installed it again.
    CPU, GPU and windows are updated

    @Shevare,

    On what graphics settings are you playing the game, also what are your PC specs?

    Best regards,

    I've been playing battlefield 5 since 2020, on the highest settings and everything was great, I also tried lowering graphics and that made no difference at all.
    My pc respects both minimum and recommended requirements.
    Also, my friend (and many other people) has one of the newest graphic cards and still has this issue.
    It's a problem that came up in the last 1-2 months, it's not about our pcs.

    @Shevare,

    Honestly there is nothing much more I can recommend, you should try talking with EA support. They might be able to provide you with more information. This is most likely a bug since I have seen many players report the same issue for the last 30 days.
