crashes when starting Battlefield V

I’m trying to play Battlefield V and/or Battlefield 2042, but after a while the screen freezes, and the only solution is to restart my PC using the power button. My PC easily meets and exceeds the requirements for these games. I’ve already tried everything — enabling secure boot, updating my graphics card drivers, updating Visual C++, changing the EA App overlay settings as suggested in forums, and running the EA App as administrator — but none of that worked. I really need help since I bought a 1-year subscription and haven’t been able to use it for the past 3 months.☹️
