Re: (BF5) Performance issues ever since update
Upon further research, I found that my machine is more than capable of running this game. I can run Battlefield 1 on all ultra for example and I do get stuttering from time to time, yes, but my frames are always above 70 which is good for a game that runs on the same engine as BF5. I'm going to post on the bottom what the system requirements are for the game:
Battlefield 5 Recommended Requirements CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 / AMD Ryzen 3 1300X or equivalent CPU SPEED: Info RAM: 12 GB OS: 64-bit Windows 10 VIDEO CARD: DirectX 11.1 Compatible video card 8GB AMD Radeon RX 580 / 6GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060) PIXEL SHADER: 5.1 VERTEX SHADER: 5.1 SOUND CARD: Yes FREE DISK SPACE: 50 GB DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 6GB (8GB AMD) The required ram for this game is 12, I have 16. The video RAM that's required is 6GB as well as 8GB, I have 6 GB GTX 1060 as displayed above. And lastly, my CPU is an i7-4790 as displayed on the top. I meet the requirements for the game and shouldn't be having these issues. I used to run Battlefield 5 just fine with over 70 frames. Ever since they focused the update on the RTX cards, my frames have been complete and utter crap, and the stuttering is far worse than it was before. I don't mind if it stutters every now and then but it happens too often and that's what is really annoying. Other people have the same issue has me and they have far more of a gaming machine than me, 1080's, 4.0 CPU's, you name it, and they get the same issue.
