Battlefield V suddenly stopped working – launch failures and freezes
Battlefield V was working perfectly fine for months, then suddenly it started failing to launch with the “An error on our end caused the launch to fail” message. After several attempts, the game now freezes during loading or gameplay and sometimes causes full system hangs requiring a restart.
I already tried:
- Repairing the game
- Reinstalling EA AntiCheat
- Clearing EA App cache
- Updating and rolling back NVIDIA drivers
- Disabling DX12
- Restarting services and system
The issue started recently and I noticed many players reporting anti-cheat and server issues in Battlefield V lately. Please investigate if there is a backend or anti-cheat related problem affecting the game.
