I can confirm that the same thing happened to me last night. US-NA server, playing conquest on Xbox One. Rotterdam. My squad was okay, with my good friend in a private party, but our team was getting steamrolled after a promising start. As SL, I realized I had 27K points, so I let my comrade know to not spawn.
I spawn in at our deployment, and call it in. Bye bye 21K points. Hello Croco-!! WHAT! He was waiting for it, selected it, I got 50 points for the reinforcement being used, and it disappeared. He spawned in as infantry. So I sprinted straight to A and into a hail of bullets. Skip revive, and the Crocodile is not there. He didn't misclick. It vanished when he selected it.
I did call in the Crocodile one other time last night and that one worked fine.
