Same issue here... Xbox One
Hey @dommie202,
I would recommend trying these steps:
Scroll down to where it says "Having Trouble?", and click the More sign, and try the steps listed there.
Let us know if this works for you.
Thanks 🙂

I followed the steps. It shows i'm logged into my EA and Origins account and i shut down my console and started the game back up. Still having the same issue.
Here are some other steps you can try:

Let us know if those help.
Thanks 🙂

It's now asking me to download and install the user interface update to play online. I already have. but clicking on it again does nothing.
Go to Settings, Network Settings, Advanced Settings, Alternate MAC Address, and Clear.
Do a hard reset on your Console after that, and see if it lets you download the Interface Update.
Thanks 🙂

Tried it. Still nothing. Now it's not giving me the option to download the update again.
I would recommend contacting EA Support.
You can contact them here:
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help. I actually got it to work finally. After reading a forum elsewhere i just to the Xbox dashboard, pressed start on the battlefield 5 game and scroll down to manage game. Deleted the reserved space save file underneath the gamer tag's save file and restarted the game. Accept the terms and conditions and you should be able to accept the update that allows you to play online.
Thanks again for your help.
Cheers
You’re an absolute life safe saver, I haven’t been able to play BF5 in such a long time.
