Re: [FIX RELEASED] BFV PC - Issues After EA anticheat Update of April 3, 2024

So, yesterday i played a match of BFV just fine, no problem. This evening i try to open it, click play on steam, nothing happens. I restarted my computer, then the game opened, but guess what. I get BSOD with the error code of eaanticheat.sys, i deleted ea anti cheat from the battlefield folder, and then it worked, i got into a match but it seems that after only 2 minutes it loses connection with the EA servers, so obviously this happens because i didn`t have the anticheat installed anymore. But i do not know what should i do, i installed it again and i get Blue screen again. This was the only game i played when i had time, and now it doesn`t work anymore. Help please?

  • Yup. same thing happening to me as of today.  Getting a BSOD whenever I try to launch BFV now.  This is absolutely pathetic and unacceptable.  I know this is a kernel level anti cheat, but this should never happen!  FIX IT!

  • Same for me. Played yesterday and all week just fine, i try this morning and BSOD. I uninstall and reinstall the game and it works, played a couple of games then got off. Tried to get back on later and BSOD again caused by eaanticheat.sys

Any way to fix it without having to uninstall?

The same issue BSOD with BF5, BF2042, traced back to ea anti-cheat. crash dump files point to ea anti-cheat time stamp.

Found on the FIFA forum: the solution is the following: Go to Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation > Turn on Memory Integrity(Toggle off/on if already on). WOrked for me! Note that you may need to enable Virtualization in the BIOS if you don't find that option in windows.
