Re: Game Keeps Crashing don't know what to do HELP!

The issues you are telling seem to be issues that I had some time ago.

The only game that always crashed was a battlefield game. Everything else worked flawless.

Every error I was getting was due to wrong RAM voltages.

This is how I fixed it.

- Disable all XMP profiles

- Set your RAM to auto or put it at the Mhz they should work.

- Search for the Voltage you have to apply on thE manufactures website and apply it manually in the BIOS.

In the BIOS watch if the voltage you applied manually is working right. On my board (Asus) even if I apply the voltage manually it will give the ram less voltage than it needs . I had to adjust it so that the bios show me the right voltage.

Test the game with the right voltage.

To be fair I've got XMP applied on mines with no issues.

I think it's fair to say a lot of people have already disabled any overclocks on everything. It certainly looks like coding issues over anything else.

Are the Devs aware of this issue we are having at least?

Who knows... the actual people with the problem are doing more investigating than them it seems since we haven't had any type of information from them other than "wait longer".  It's been like that for over 5 weeks.  It seriously feels like they're going to tell us to wait until we just all give up and leave since they already got our money.  Rightfully living up to their rep as one of the worst companies in america.

They're too busy screwing up the TTK to care about us.  Notice once they got backlash from that there was a instant response when that went viral while all we've gotten are rehashes of the same stuff...  turn off XMP... reinstall the redist.... repair the game... etc etc.  Sooner or later they're going to say... hey why don't you just all buy a new computer?

This is of no fault to the community managers either.  They're just trying to hold the fort until the devs can tell them something.  But it seems like DICE is just twiddling their fingers at this point.  Perhaps they don't even know how to fix the problem since this has error has existed for a long long time from past posts.  That's why they got nothing for us and most likely the reason why they don't want to put it on the known issues list.

Have you tried the thing with the RAM voltage?

    Hey guys.
What settings are you using for your RAM in bios?

Such as XMP profile with Intel or without or DOCP profile and so on and what type, DDR3 or DDR4 and with what freq?

    This might be the problem..

    Im using:
XMP profile 1 with intel on my Asus motherboard.
    DDR4 2133

And im having this issue, i thought it was a GPU problem firstly but ive stresstested it allot and it's only in BF V this happens.

RAM settings can be different depending on what you have.

XMP is what it should run at which should be fine unless the module is defective.  On the off case that it's not stable, you can also take it off XMP and put all your settings manually per your ram specs or follow the JEDEC settings for the ram module and underclock it.

Before you even deal with mucking with ram and taking it off XMP, you should take off any overclock on the processor and GPU and run everything at stock specs.  If the game is stable at stock specs, then your overclock is unstable in some way and it could be on the proc/memory/power supply/GPU/etc etc.

Note for the ram part and taking it off XMP, don't always blame the ram modules.  It can always be that the processor IMC is not stable at the overclock settings either but the ram modules can be fine.

If the game is not stable at stock specs and is still crashing, then it's most likely the game if you have verified stability of your hardware at stock on other games/stability testing.  A few people have done this and have confirmed that with everything at stock, only BFV crashes constantly and no other games.

This is why we want answers from EA.  Either give us answers or give us a refund.

Why should I be calm?  We've been waiting 5+ weeks, after being hoodwinked with a broken game, for at least some acknowledgement that a fix is coming.  Calm and patience went out the door after week 2.

If you want to give away your money for broken products you're more than welcome to do so.

I don't believe many in this thread would agree with you after being cheated out of 60 bucks.  The game is currently down to 30... that should tell you something.  The fact that they worked on the TTK before this issue should tell you something.  The fact that they FIXED the TTK within 1 day of backlash should also tell you what the priority to this issue is.

I agree with you. This is pathetic. Almost impossible to play normally. How we should enjoy this game?!...
