@Penguiin1337 When you have time try this if not done already with DX12 on in your cfg. And yes I know some of this you did already but if any steps not tried please try them....
First make sure both are up to date and reboot once update is done , Net framework should be ok but check just to be safe and Adobe Flash make sure its up to date as well...
Update your Microsoft .NET framework.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=30653
Adobe Flash Player update
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/And make sure this is OFF with Origin..
Disable Origin in game:
In Origin - Application settings - Origin in Game - disable Origin in game
Origin Cloud Storage turn it off
Origin, settings, GeneralEdit reg this @Penguiin1337 ... What about the crashdump files, I do have in my BFV folder under ...>documents? Would that be helpful? ....If nothing shows in PC event viewer for this error then yes it cant hurt to look at it but it may tell me nothing :/ A issue like this can be a pain to pin down lol... Off chance is video card driver up to date and how much junk from it do you install as 80% of it could be making issues like G force experience. If this fails to fix it if you want I can give you info on video card driver install to do it so clean your PC may go into shock lol J/K but its a very clean install with zero extra bloat crap on the PC. Edit 2 ... @Penguiin1337 Doing more homework on your problem and found a few things to make your issue so try this if you have the settings... Go to Nvidia control panel -> Manage 3d Settings -> Program Settings -> Select BFV -> Find "Optimize for Compute Performance" -> Set it to "Off" Or try this .... BF5 would crash on startup for me after enabling DX12, I ended up narrowing the issue down to ansel initializing during startup, and fixed the issue by disabling NVidia Ansel. To disable ansel goto C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel\Tools and start the NvCameraConfiguration program, then near the bottom select disabled and save. Source page 1 and 2 if you want to read it first... https://forums.battlefield.com/en-us/discussion/179469/bf5-crashes-on-start-up-with-dx12-enabled
Next and some of this you have done but posting it all just to be safe as we want you to be able to use DX12. So what ever in this list you have not done please do it. And yes I could be out to lunch on this one as you can open the game in DX11but its worth a shot as PC / game issues can shock up what can fix them ....Re- install origin only not your game just origin.
1. Uninstall Origin completely from Windows Control Panel.
2. Reboot your PC. This is important to clear out any lingering registry files or directories.
3. Download the latest here: http://origin.com/download
4. Install Origin You should not be prompted to update.
Check your firewall to be sure it is open to the game and not blocking it.
Other things to try if the above fails to fix it for you....

Flush your DNS
Your system keeps a record of IP addresses and domain names for the servers you access. Sometimes it helps to clear old data from this cache and start fresh. It's extra important to try this if you've had any problems with your hard drive or if you have had a virus or malware infection on your PC.
NOTE: Complete these steps using an admin account. You will be typing prompts into the CMD console, so it is very important that you enter the commands exactly as shown.
The following steps are specific to PC users. Apple has instructions on resetting your DNS cache for Mac.
Windows 10
Hold down the Windows Key and press X.
Click Command Prompt (Admin).
When the command prompt opens, type ipconfig/flushdns and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /registerdns and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
Reboot your computer.
While a DNS refresh might solve your connection problems, the DNS itself could potentially not be working as intended, and connection issues will continue no matter how many times you flush your DNS cache.
You can check if you DNS is failing by trying to switch to a public DNS like Google DNS. Follow these steps from developers.google.com to set that up.
Google DNS might actually be slower than your normal DNS, but is useful to test and see if your connection problems are coming from your local DNS.
Once you flush your DNS cache, try connecting to your game again.
If flushing your DNS does not clear up the problem, try resetting your hosts file. That can also help with some connection issues — especially if they came from malware infections.
Try a clean boot
Clean booting cuts down the number of applications that run when you start your computer. This step is very helpful if any other programs on your system are clashing with Origin and causing problems.
If you're running Windows 10, follow these steps to clean boot:
Open the Start menu and search for msconfig.
Click on System Configuration.
Click the Services tab.
Check the box to Hide all Microsoft Services, then click the Disable All button.
Click on the Startup tab, then click on Open Task Manager.
It can take a few seconds for the Task Manager list to load.
Click each of the Startup programs in the list then click the Disable button.
Close the Task Manager window.
Click OK on the System Configuration window to save your changes, then restart your computer.
Once you restart your computer, try launching your game again.
Follow the Microsoft instructions for performing a clean boot in Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1.
Close background applications
If your game now updates and connects, your computer might be running a program at start up that conflicts with Origin.
Close background applications or programs and see if you can get your games and Origin running smoothly.Hey @2042isNotBF Dude, you are really into this topic and I would like to thank you for that! I followed the steps carefully , read through the other forum post, but non of it worked.
I am still crashing.I am going back to the Nvidia driver, the dude had. 430.86, although I do have a desktop RTX 2070. Maybe that works ...
Had the same problem. Disabling DX12 for BFV solved it.
Go in to your Documents/Battlefield V/settings folder.
Edit PROFSAVE_profile. Change GstRender.Dx12Enabled to 0. Enjoy!
@Penguiin1337 As we know you can play in DX11 I just want you to be able to use DX12 as it does work for me and others as well. So the tricky part is finding the correct fix or setting for your PC and this can be a pain for you as it could be many many steps to find the correct fix , I am more then happy to try and help you fix this. So for video card driver try this and do all steps and yes this is how I do all the video card drivers in this house on all the PCs. This could be due to a conflict from video drivers or video card driver installing all the crap so its worth trying it this way....
Copy and past all of this to note pad and put it on your desktop...
Try this and do all steps to get you PC cleaned up ......
First rule out your windows if it gives a error and fixes it then reboot and run it a second time and reboot when its done....
Test your windows for errors as a clean windows install does not always make a stable windows. I run this once a week and after every format once all new drivers are in and windows updates is done.
Running SFC does not guarantee the crash will not happen, but it will ensure it is not because a windows Dll or file is corrupted in windows.
NOTE = Run command prompt as ADMIN and reboot PC after its done. No open web pages or programs like steam or Origin or web pages and always reboot after its done.
If you get a error first run then reboot PC ans run it again this tool in windows has saved me from many a format.
sfc /scannow safe for all windows you can copy and past sfc /scannow in command prompt as ADMIN.
Note = All the extra JUNK video card drivers install can and will make issues for many. And all the extra junk is just not needed for most people.
This is how you do a clean graphic driver clean install.........
1- For NVIDIA go download your driver put it on your desk top. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
For AMD http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
2- Go download DDU ...Display Driver Uninstaller and unzip it on desktop... Read the page fully if you have never used this program and yes it must be done in safe mode for it to work ... https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
3- Go download the free version of CC cleaner install it..
https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner .... install it and clean your registry before you start the video card driver.
4 Once everything is downloaded and on your desktop then reboot your PC in safe mode... to get to safe mode type ... msconfig in run will bring up safe mode go to boot tab and check off safe boot Minimal hit apply and reboot PC.
5- Remove old video card driver in safe mode using DDU in safe mode
6- Once DDU is rebooting unplug your net so windows does not install a video card driver on you this must be done fully clean.
Once back in windows then install your video card driver but only install what I stated in step 7
7- When the time comes to install the video card driver you will be picking custom advanced you will only install two things from it for Nvidia cards 1- Graphics Driver 2- PhysX System and check off clean install with a 20XX RTX card you will check off a few more things but keep OFF... G-Force Experience and sound driver they are not needed for most people and G-Force Experience makes problems on a PC . For AMD card Advanced only check off display driver and catalyst control center as well as check off clean install.
8- When new video card driver is installed reboot your PC
9- Once rebooted use CC Cleaner to clean the registry, reboot PC and check the registry one last time for any issues. If it finds any repeat steps until it finds none. CC cleaner will give you the choice to back up or not and the first time you run it it is normal if it finds 80 + errors in the registry as every installed or uninstalled program will leave fragments behind in registry and CC Cleaner will clean this up.
10-Run windows scan again just to be safe I run this about once a week on all my rigs it can save you many a format.
sfc /scannow and reboot PC and no open programs as they can give false errors. Once rebooted from windows scan then do step 11
11- Now to pull the most FPS out of your rig open NVIDIA Control Panel and under 3D settings .. Adjust image settings with Preview set it to use my preference and set it to performance and hit Apply.
Edit other settings to do in game and on desktop please do all :] ....Part 2... For 20xx RTX cards
For Origin turn off cloud storage and turn off origin in game. ___Make sure you turn both OFF
Open Nvidia Control panel under 3D settings go to Adjust image settings with preview
Pick use my preference and set it to performance and hit apply.
Next step in game video settings advanced in BFV .....
DXR enabled OFF sorry its still making crashing in BFV and not worth keeping it on just yet.
Nvidia DLSS OFF
High Dynamic Range OFF
Make sure frame rate limiter is set to 200
future frame rendering- off
vertical sync- off
UI Upscasling AUTO
GPU memory restriction- off
Below set graphics quality to custom
Everything on med or low play with it see what works best for your PC but stuff below...
Mesh Quality is on UltraAntialiasing post processing is on TAA LOW
Ambient Occlusion is OFF
FX amount is on LOW
DXR you cant turn off its on Ultra
Under Basic Video settings do this for settings in BFV
motion blur set to 0
Under video Basic ....
ADS Fild of View - OFFADS DOF Effects OFF
Chromatic Aberration OFF
Vignette OFF
Lens Distortion OFF
All of this I do and use on my own game rig so let me know if it helps fingers crossed for you :]
Hey @2042isNotBF
I do not know, what happened, but as weird my problem appeared, as weird the problem is solved!
I did nothing from yesterday till now, but I could start the game and DX12 is enabled. Sorry for those who experience the same problem, I really can't tell why it is starting now.
However, thanks alot for your effort @2042isNotBF !! Appreciate your help.
