Re: Help FPS issue

So, I make the registry issue on CCleaner and also dell bfv folder so all is rset and the issue still here... I only have BF5 on this pc

I test temperature, Max GPU 78C and max CPU 100C, and what i can see is that like everytime the game was okay at 60 fps for 5 first minutes and after it come to 25fps for 7-8 min and after go at 60 fps. What i see on the screenshot is that when T CPU hit 100C some security stop cpu and let him refresh at  60C, during this time i have under 25 fps and when th cpu hit 60C the game work at 60 fps, and again and again !

The think is that 1 week ago i can play 2hours at optimum settings and 60 fps with no issue of that and the day after it start to do that...

I also go in DELL POWER MANAGER because i see that can help for overhaeting issue on dell g3 but it change nothing CPU also hit 100C.

I don't have the solution..

That is very likely the source of this problem. 100C is quite high and when your CPU reaches that temperature, it slows itself down in order to reduce the temperature. That's when you see your in-game performance drop to 20-30FPS.

You need to find a way to reduce the CPU temperature. Have you tried switching the mode to "Frais". If I understand properly, "Frais" will make sure your temperature is lower by increasing fan speed. Perhaps also try disabling turbo boost and undervolting your CPU. There are many tutorials out there on how to do this. If you're not comfortable messing with your CPU and if your laptop is under warranty, I'd suggest you to contact Dell and ask them to fix the problem.
