In addition to @EA_Atic's question, are you using an OEM Xbox controller?  An Elite Xbox Controller?  A 3rd party controller?

    It was a 3rd party controller. I just went ahead and used my ps3 controller and now it's fine.

    Yea It was strange. The xbox 3rd party controller completely switched by itself. The ps3 controller is working just fine. I'm using it on pc. Thanks for the help
