@Adman_Tor& @II__SUSHI__II if there is any blast area of it then it can cause few dmg to you outside of it like; 1m or 2m if they did throw it in a good moment to near you.
Another can cause, due to a bug which can not represent the effects of it normally so it might burns up other materials in the way of it and the burning effects is going on and on (especially if you haven't got a high end PS4 which can detail everything in the game on ultra performance.
Roses are red, Violets are blue but there is a chance of windy day which blows the fire to you. :'D - Adman_Tor7 years agoNot applicable
@FreaKKush7 @II__SUSHI__II - Yes that sounds about right. I do have a PS4 pro - but the game clearly isn't displaying the proper damage area in the game.

Can you upload a clip of this when it happens again? We're not currently tracking any reports of this and with the amount of players potentially being impacted by this we would likely see a lot more reports.

@EA_BlueberryPlease look at this video from LevelCap: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MESDbY_Xelc
Go to 7:21 in the video. You will see an incendiary grenade was thrown in FRONT of an obstacle with NO visual representation near the player. He burned, looked around (no fire) and died.

It looks like the grenade was inside the box before he died. You can see an orange glow.

@EA_Blueberry- INSIDE the closed crate that has no opening? So you would agree that the incendiary grenade graphics do not accurately represent the damage area. If you can get damaged - there should be FIRE at your feet.
"A glowing closed crate" would constitute an accurate representation of the bug that I am reporting.

I agree! Just pointing out that it looks like the fire was hidden inside the crate. 😉

Nice to see that this might finally get addressed in this patch... Almost a year later..
