I also tested it in a solo squad to see if my points over time would accrue differently from the squad requisition points and the overall leaderboard score. Though there could be some points that you may only earn towards squad requisition points (not sure), this was early game and there's already a huge difference in score. The images below were taken while I was in a squad by myself and not deployed yet. You can see a noticeable difference. It appears that the squad requisition points account for most or all of the points that you should be receiving, while the leaderboard omits a lot of the points that you should be receiving.
