- ElliotLH5 years agoHero+@Aboody_023 If memory serves they mentioned that the servers weren't very active and saw a trend of people in the region joining EU servers (potentially due to Quickmatch sending them OOR) so shut them down.
While anything is possible they most likely won't return them, or any of the other regions where they've shut them down. i respect their choice ...
but they have to find a solution for us
such as improve or upgrade their EU servers
because we have (120+) ping latency
and facing people who has (60) or less ping latency !!

There isn't much chance of that as the use AWS servers and I just can't see EA paying them more while they're cutting costs by shutting server regions down.

@Aboody_023 Distance is a factor you need to keep in mind when it comes to ping and ms add in all the routers/server hubs that sends on your data also needs to handel it there is a lot of factors to have in mind for data travel. 120+ I would say is pretty good from Middle East to the EU.
But keep the feedback going for middle east servers.
