If you are referring to your Chapter Rank, that is not increased with the Tier skip.
The Tier skip gives you the next reward, not the experience needed to gain the next rank.

Thank you very much for your response. Indeed, until now I believed that with 1+ tier I will gain the next level in tier rank. Now I understand how it works.

He would of needed to have all 40 rewards unlocked to receive the 100 Battlefield Coins.
Since he did not have all 40 at the time, the tier skip worked as intended.

Playing for the gold dogtag as need some XP for that yet. As I got as skip chapter reward from TOW event this week I received 100 BFC. I am assuming, since he was only chapter rank 25, that he did not have all of the rewards yet.
- @Plucky6922 Yes, but I can now confirm as well. myself level 38. All rewards. Recieved 100 bfc just like last week. Seems I need to fight a lot more this chapter to unlock dogtag and get level 40..
