Re: Not recognizing the game as purchased/owned

@mkidd5

Thanks for giving it a shot!

Can you try setting up a Clean Boot on your PC to see if that helps at all? If there's something else running that's preventing Battlefield V from launching that might help.

For more details on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the EA Help website. Let me know if that helps.

  • Hi @EA_Kent ,

    Thanks for the advice but this didn't help either.
    Hopefully, we are going to sort this out soon.

    So, what shall we do?

    I wonder if this is something account-related. I think it would be best to reach out to the EA Help team so they can bring up your account and take a look. You can find more details on how to set up a case with them at the EA Help website

  • I have the same problem but I am on a Playstation 4. I own the game and I am around level 60 but I cannot quick launch bfv through the battlefield menu because apparently it thinks I dont have the game. Bfv doesnt come upon my battlefield companion either, it just weird and annoying.

    @Sentenial7023 BFV wasn't ever added to the companion but if you own the game and it's installed then you should be able to play it. It may be worth restoring the licence or reinstalling if you can't open it at all.
