Re: Ping marker visibilty bug.

@FrankWeyland

Thanks for the report!

Can you get a recorded clip of this and link it here? Does it happen if you after a power cycle with the console and do you have the game installed on an external hard drive?

Power Cycle the Console

  1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
  2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

  1. Plug the console power cable back in.
  2. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Clear Mac Address

  1. Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.

    Hi, power cycle and mac address clearing did not fixed it. Which opacity setting should affect to ping markers?

    Resetting settings did not help. Maybe there could be own opacity setting for ping markers?

    Hi, this is real problem and also my frends has this same issue. Can you please fix this? Also waiting 3 min in hangar almost every round with 61-63 players sucks but that''s another story.

    Resetting your gameplay settings back to default should fix this, unless there is an overlay you're using that could be throwing it off.

    When your squad mates throw down markers and you look towards them, they will fade out a little bit. When you are looking directly at them while your ADS, they will disappear. The last thing I would want is the markers to be blocking or getting in the way of me looking/shooting at an enemy. It's self explanatory too, if you're looking directly at the market and it disappears, you're going in the right direction.

    I adjusted the friendly soldier opacity settings below and that caused the markers to disappear.
