  • This unnessasary requirement kept me off playing the game in alpha, beta and on premiere access release date.

I had to change my GPU in order to play some BF5.

Would be nice if you communicate this to the developers. The GPU is capable to run the game, so this shouldnt happen.

    Hi Barry,

thanks for the help. There is nothing available to update, the game launches is looking for aversion that doesn't even exist for the GPU. Seems like there is a bunch of people stuck on the same boat. This is so frustrating. Going to try to get my money back LOL

  • EA Support argued that we dont own a "gaming" Card. But this Card is capable to run this game.

I am using my P2000 and my P4000 to game just fine, just not for Battlefield 5.

  • I have the same issue. I have a brand new Leonvo P52 with a Nvidia Quadro P3200 graphics card.

Their newest experimental driver is 416.78, but they require 416.94.

    What a disappointment, I haven't played for 1 second.

  • @EA_Barry

The only thing i want is to play the game, this dont work due to a riddiculus driver version requirement.

I would be glad that you communicate that to the developers.

Maybe they didnt thought about that, everybody makes mistakes.

It is absurd. Just got my money back it is what it is. Ill keep playing COD/PUBG for the time being. sigh.

  • @EA_Barry

Thank you for your helpful suggestion.

But for me, it's not about the 50 bucks. I just would like to play the game on my brand new laptop. I didn't but the laptop to play games on it (I use it to work on it), but I wanted to have the option to game a little bit. And I haven't played for 12 years (since I stopped playing BF 1942 and BF Vietnam), but after this long period of abstinence I'd like to play a bit again. And not just a game, but BF V 🙂

So I hope that this feedback gets heard from the developers who decided on the minimum driver version.

The only thing I can do now is check the Nvidia website /Geforce Experience daily fo see if there's a driver update for my Quadro P3200.

  • @keztrel

Thanks a lot! I was able to play it (didn't get the .bat file to work, but was able to play with renaming nvapi64.dll).

Proves my opinion that EA is too strict on limiting BF V to the newest drivers.

    @IICookieGII

Yes, I can now play BF V using the workaround from above.

But I don't think I mark an answer as "correct answer", as I haven't started this thread?
