Hey everyone,

For bad ping I need some information from you:

1. The server ID.
2. Your ping on that server.
3. Did you quick match? 

You get the server ID by activating Network performance graph in Gameplay options and then Advanced.

my ping is 40-50, its fine, but ping not showed in server list and quick start not work

Things have gotten significantly better today,but I still encounter issues sometimes, for example, Conquest MM, instance id: Gvz9B3FF, ping 2000 - 2300, it dropped to normal values (approx. 60) for a minute maybe, and then got back to high again. It was literally unplayable, had to leave the game.

Also, sometimes I get connected to a game but cannot deploy: the button is highlighted with white but nothing happens when I click it, sorry, didn't get the chance to take the instance id, I'll try to do it next time it happens.

P.S. There's still the issue on not being able to quit after a match is over (there's just infinite loading and then the next game starts)

Regarding the Error: 2000 issue. 

• With the recent Battlefield V 11-26-2018 server update (no client update needed), we’ve resolved issues where players with Russian IPs were not able to connect to the Battlefield V servers. Although we’ve resolved the majority of these connection issues for these players, please let us know if you experience any additional connectivity issues.

What can help is is to remove the Battlefield V document folder, this will remove bad settings and cached information. 

OBS: This will remove all settings and local progression for single player.

@EA_Atic I have the same problem. Battlefield 4 and 1 work and there is no such problem. I tried everything and the provider called he says sending packets is going fast.

Hey @11sslon11, are you PC or console? 

Can you try to use a 4g device as a network source and then connect to Battlefield V to see if that improves it for you.

If 4G doest work then there is something on your system blocking access. btw was the 4G device connected to the wifi? 

What you can try: 

• Make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.
• You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
• Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

Every driver is up to date, nothing blocks BFV. Everything was fine till today

and driver updated, then turned off the NVIDIA overlay and cleaning did nothing helps(

Thank you! Now I can connect to the game, but still can’t play.

All servers have gray ping field.

I have tried to delete Battlefield V Document folder and all steps from PC connection troubleshooter. Still does not work.

It works through VPN, but ping is too high to play. Therefore, this problem is only for Russia.

I can't connect today. And the weirdest thing is as long as BF 5 is running in the foreground my internet connection just stops working altogether, I get request timeouts even to 8.8.8.8 but as soon as I minimize BF 5, everything goes to normal (it even manages to show the multiplayer menu sometimes). Not sure how to troubleshoot it.

@ElectronicDK I dont think that game can do such a thing... Do u try to reinstall NIC (network interface controller) drivers or perhaps, u have installed some network connection optimization software like "Killer Software"?

@MADrag0n thank you for your comment, yeah, it looked weird to me as well, so I made sure I have the latest GPU drivers, because I have one of the latest Nvidia gpus, rebooted my computer, it seems to have improved things but now I'm getting a -34601 error. (And no, I don't have many 3rd party apps installed especially different kinds of "optimizers", I try to keep everything more or less clean).

Even though I can connect from Russian IP without using VPN, I'm now getting an awful ping. Previously it was 58-65, not it's 100-115. This happened recently, when people started complaining about "-34601 error".

Most of the time "Ping" is "-" in the servers' browse window:

Same issue, on some german servers everything is okay, on some servers (german too) i am getting those icons indicating packet loss and unstable ping. Grey server ping indicators and error -34601 when i trying to use quick game too. Also i cant get on british servers at all, it says network connection is too bad or something like that. No problems when i use VPN, and there was no problems before 29 november. A lot of russian players experiencing those troubles too. Ofcourse its great that ea fixed 2000 error, but there still a problem for russian players, please fix it too.

yeah, also noticed, that on some servers ping is ok, around 60, on others (from the same country - Germany) could be 250.
